I\u2019m glad that all my recordings can stay where they belong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(Dylan was a darn sight nicer about Sony than his contemporary, Neil Young, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/neil-youngs-spotify-exodus-test-case-for-artists-who-dare-question-music-industry-dogma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was about Spotify this week<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Dylan&#8217;s deal with Sony follows the sale of his publishing catalog to Universal Music Group for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/universal-buys-bob-dylan-publishing-rights-acquiring-catalog-worth-hundreds-of-millions-of-dollars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">around $350 million<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in major label land, Warner Music Group announced that it&#8217;s bought &#8220;LAND&#8221;
