Live Music company and venue operator tvg hospitality, founded by Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons, has made two key appointments in the US.<\/p>\n
Jayne Davis has been named Chief Operating Officer and Katie Millar as General Manager of the Orion Amphitheater\u00a0in Huntsville, AL.<\/p>\n
Based in New York, Davis has more than 14 years of leadership experience across the hospitality industry, ranging from food & beverage, hotels, private member clubs, airport operations, fine dining and more.<\/p>\n
Before joining tvg hospitality, she served as the Senior Vice President of Operations Development at OTG Management, Head of Opening Operations at Soho House and led Operations and Food & Beverage across all Starwood Hotels brands including St. Regis, W and Westin.<\/p>\n
Now General Manager of The Orion Amphitheater, Millar has worked in the entertainment industry for over 18 years.<\/p>\n
After graduating from Georgetown University and IAVM\u2019s Venue Management School, Millar worked in event production at Spectra Venue Management and Monumental Sports & Entertainment, oversaw multiple venues for the City of Mississauga, Ontario.<\/p>\n
She was also Assistant General Manager in Live Nation\u2019s Clubs & Theatres division.<\/p>\n
tvg’s Huntsville\u2019s Orion Amphitheater opened this past May.<\/p>\n
The Orion is nominated for New Concert Venue of the Year at the 2023 Pollstar Awards, won the 2022 Partnership in Tourism Award from the Alabama Tourism Department and Attraction of the Year from the Alabama Mountain Lakes Association.<\/p>\n
tvg has created and manage venues in London \u2014 Southwark Quarter, Goods Way and The Social \u2014 with additional projects underway in Washington, DC, Nashville, TN, Detroit, MI and Austin, TX.<\/p>\n
