Talent agency WME has appointed Josh Javor as Partner and co-head of its London music department.<\/p>\n

Javor joins WME from X-Ray Touring, where he spent 17 years working with a range of artists including Coldplay, Eminem, Queens of the Stone Age, Phoebe Bridgers, Modest Mouse and Snow Patrol.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He has also worked with artists like Alice in Chains, Boygenius, Jimmy Eat World, Cigarettes After Sex, Belle & Sebastian, Afghan Whigs, Beth Orton,\u00a0 <\/span>Foy Vance, The Charlatans, Kodaline, The Hold Steady, Echo & the Bunnymen, Jenny Lewis, Lightning Seeds, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Breeders, Refused, Touche Amore, City and Colour, Bright Eyes, Maximo Park, Alkaline Trio, Seasick Steve, The Amazons, Thrice and Taking Back Sunday.<\/p>\n

Javor\u2019s exit from X-Ray Touring came two years after the UK-based artist agency appointed<\/a> him to the management board.<\/p>\n

In his new role at WME, Javor will report to Lucy Dickins<\/a>, WME\u2019s Global Head of Contemporary Music and Touring. He will be based at the company\u2019s London office.<\/p>\n

Commenting on his appointment, Javor said: \u201cSteve Strange and I built an incredible business at X-Ray over the last 18 years through teamwork and passion for our artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year, WME said its artists have had more than 122 Grammy nominations, 16 Brit Award nominations, 7 of the 12 Mercury Prize nominations, and 45 nominations across 18 categories at the Latin American Music Awards.<\/p>\n

WME artists including Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Loyle Carner, Lewis Capaldi, Dave, Fatboy Slim, Maneskin, Jake Shears and Rick Astley performed at Glastonbury this summer.<\/p>\n

The agency’s presence was also strong at this year\u2019s Ibiza festival, with its artists booked for over 300 shows from 60 clients including a 14-week residency from Calvin Harris.<\/p>\n

Among the highlights of WME talent this year include Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII Half Time Show, Adele’s sold-out Las Vegas residency, Usher’s Vegas run, and The Killers headlining multiple North American festivals alongside Reading and Leeds events in the UK.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
