HarbourView Equity Partners, an alternative asset management firm, has acquired \u2018select producer royalties and music publishing assets\u2019 from Grammy Award-winning record producer and songwriter Noel Zancanella.<\/p>\n
Best known as a longstanding creative partner of OneRepublic\u2019s<\/b> frontman Ryan Tedder<\/b>, Zancanella has built a career as a songwriter and producer across various genres, including rock, pop, and hip-hop. He has collaborated with other artists including Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Adele <\/b>and <\/b>the Smashing Pumpkin<\/b>s<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n His songwriting and production credits include OneRepublic\u2019s I Lived,<\/i> Good Life,<\/i> and West Coast;<\/i> Ella<\/b> Henderson\u2019s<\/b> Ghost;<\/i> and Maroon 5\u2019s hit Maps.<\/i><\/p>\n In 2015, Zancanella was honored with the Songwriter of the Year Award<\/strong> at the BMI Pop Award<\/b>s<\/strong>. The following year, he earned a Grammy<\/b> Award<\/b><\/a> for Album of the Year for his work on Taylor<\/b> Swift’s<\/b> fifth album, 1989<\/i>, alongside Swift and Ryan Tedder, contributing to tracks like Welcome to New York <\/i>and I Know Places.<\/i><\/p>\n Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n The acquisition of select assets from Zancanella further expands HarbourView\u2019s music catalog, which now spans over 29,000<\/b> songs across master recordings and musical compositions. The company, led by its founder,\u00a0former<\/a> Tempo<\/b> Music<\/b> CEO Sherrese<\/b> Clarke<\/b> Soares<\/b>, has been actively acquiring music catalogs, among other IP, since its inception in 2021. It has to date acquired over 50<\/strong> music catalogs.<\/p>\n Recent acquisitions made by HarbourView Equity Partners include \u2018select songwriting and publishing assets\u2019 from the hip-hop and R&B music group and production team Full<\/b> Force<\/b><\/a>, select publishing assets from country star\u00a0Kane Brown<\/b><\/a>, recorded music royalties from\u00a0Christine McVie<\/b>\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0estate and a share of select recorded music and publishing assets from Grammy Award-winning artists\u00a0Pat Benatar<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Neil<\/b>\u00a0Giraldo<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n
