One of its most successful efforts so far resulted in the launch of girl group <strong>KATSEYE<\/strong> in the US last year through HYBE&#8217;s partnership with <a class=\"link-relationship\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; background: transparent; color: unset !important; text-decoration: none; outline: none !important; border-bottom: 1px dashed #ff7d00;\" title=\"Companies &gt; Universal Music Group [4,052 articles]\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/companies\/universal-music-group\/\">Universal Music Group<\/a>\u2018s\u00a0<strong>Geffen Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On a recent earnings call, HYBE&#8217;s leadership team pointed to KATSEYE\u2019s US success as validation of its K-pop system in Western markets.<\/p>\n<p>According to HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee, KATSEYE \u201chad the best year in 2024 with their debut album <em>SIS,<\/em>\u201d with their title track\u00a0<em>Touch<\/em>\u00a0appearing on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 for two weeks and the Global Song Chart for 13 consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe group has received so much attention and affection from listeners and music critics worldwide. The success of\u00a0<strong>KATSEYE<\/strong>\u00a0demonstrate[s] that the K-pop system can work in the U.S.,\u201d Lee stated.<\/p>\n<p>HYBE also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/hybes-bang-si-hyuk-scooter-braun-partner-with-ryan-tedder-to-launch-global-search-for-new-boy-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently teamed up with<\/a> Grammy Award winner Ryan Tedder to search for and create a new boy group.
