Only <em>Reputation<\/em> and her self-titled debut album remain unreleased as re-recordings.<\/p>\n<p>In her letter to fans on Friday, Swift called the deal with Shamrock her &#8220;greatest dream come true&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Added Swift: &#8220;To my fans, you know how important this has been to me \u2013 so much so that I meticulously re-recorded and released 4 of my albums, calling them Taylor&#8217;s Version.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">      <div class=\"mb-advert__incontent\">      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__spu\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-name=\"300x250 Sponsor MPU #2\" data-params=\"dfp_spu2\" id=\"dfp_spu2\"><\/div>      <\/div>      <\/p>\n<p>Financial details of the buyback have not been disclosed. <em>Variety reports<\/em> that it was a &#8220;nine-figure sum&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/05\/21\/celebrity-news\/taylor-swift-has-chance-to-buy-original-recordings-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Page Six suggested earlier this month<\/a> that the deal could be valued between $600 million and $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>This would represent a significant increase from the $405 million that Shamrock Capital <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/scooter-braun-wanted-sell-taylor-swift-masters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">paid Ithaca Holdings<\/a> for the masters in November 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Swift was the biggest revenue-generating recording artist globally in 2024 according to IFPI data.
