Universal parent Vivendi is the main sponsor of the two-day Lions Entertainment\u00a0strand of\u00a0the upcoming\u00a0Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two-day conference takes place in Cannes, France on June 21-22 and Vivendi has returned as\u00a0lead sponsor for a second year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On June 21, Sir Lucian Grainge, Universal Music Group Chairman & CEO, will be the first music exec to be honoured<\/a> as Cannes Lions Media Person of the Year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the conference, Vivendi – and its principal businesses UMG, Canal+ Group, Gameloft, Vivendi Village and Dailymotion \u2013 will showcase how content and talent can contribute value to the branded communications community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Sir William Sargent, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Framestore, will talk about his company\u2019s partnership with Studiocanal on feature film Paddington.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Olivier Robert-Murphy, Global Head of New Business for Universal Music Group, is the President of the Lions Entertainment Music jury. <\/span><\/p>\n
