Paul Sinclair (pictured) has been promoted to General Manager & Executive Vice President of Atlantic Records, based at the company\u2019s New York headquarters.<\/p>\n
The announcement was made today by Atlantic Chairman & COO Julie Greenwald and Chairman & CEO Craig Kallman.<\/p>\n
Sinclair joined Atlantic in 2006 and was most recently the label\u2019s widely respected EVP of Digital Strategy & Innovation.<\/p>\n
Sinclair has been the driving force behind the creation of the industry\u2019s premier digital department, which has been a pioneer in digital innovation, while developing unique, bespoke campaigns for artists on the Atlantic roster.<\/p>\n
In his new post, Sinclair will focus on strategies to keep Atlantic at the forefront of modern culture, bringing his extensive marketing and creative experience to a wide scope of company initiatives.<\/p>\n
Sinclair was named to Billboard\u2019s Digital Power Players list in 2016 and 2017. A frequent speaker at media and music forums, he has recently guest-lectured about innovation in the music industry space at William Paterson University, Columbia University, New York University, and Albright College.<\/p>\n
He joined Warner Music Group (WMG) in 2001 as Director, Digital Properties and moved to WMG\u2019s Atlantic Records in 2006<\/p>\n
